Bond-ost is a cow's milk cheese, where the milk is curdled, heated, cut, salted, stirred, pressed into forms, and immersed into brine for a day or two, the new cheese is ripened for six to eight weeks. Sometimes, as with this cheese, the Bond-ost is mixed with caraway seeds. This cheese now comes as a brick and not a round wheel.

I ordered a Bondost Wheel and got a Brick. Assuming it will be fine but when you pay $20 for shipping it'd be nice to get what you ordered. Norsland Lefse reply: Thanks for the review. Our Bondost listing had outdated photos and a wrong description, which caused the wheel vs. brick confusion. We’ve updated the listing to match what we actually ship. Cheese is Amazing just hard to find in our area now.. however the shipping charges Insane..for a bag... WOW! but was a great treat for not having in awhile and was family tradition.
